Born Donte Campbell on July 28, 1983, in Baltimore, Maryland, GThiird — formerly known as TayCam — is a hip hop artist known for raw truth and authentic storytelling. Inspired by music at the age of 6, he began writing lyrics as a teenager, using music to escape and cope with the harsh realities of Baltimore’s streets. In 2015, he fully committed to his career, determined to rise above violence and struggle through his craft. In 2017, he was named “Artist of the Year” by Baltimore-based *Vital Magazine*. Over five years, GThiird independently released 14 consecutive mixtapes, documenting the pain, growth, struggle, and perseverance of life as a Black man in America. He has opened for artists including Silkk The Shocker, Mr. Serv-On, and Lil KeKe. With no ghostwriters or gimmicks, GThiird delivers uncut lyricism rooted in real life, survival, and purpose.
